In partnership with Mediobanca, Italy's top investment bank with €78.2bn assets under management (AUM), we are currently exploring potential opportunities at the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and corporate and investment banking. We're seeking an experienced operator with entrepreneurial aspirations to collaboratively create a new concept with our Venture Design team. Subsequently, you will spearhead the venture as the Founder & CEO with our investment and the full support of Founders Factory. We believe that the abilities of large language models (LLMs) to better comprehend and manipulate unstructured data will revolutionize the future of the banking industry. Financial institutions currently struggle with lengthy, costly manual processes, which intelligent systems can increasingly automate. AI in corporate and investment banking (CIB) stands to significantly boost productivity, particularly in activities like financial modelling, generating marketing materials, and compliance. We see various opportunities to establish businesses in this space, particularly in the following areas: Co-pilot for investment bankers, AI agent to navigate legacy core banking platforms, Information and third-party data analysis engine, Automating due diligence processes, and Loan servicing on autopilot. What are we looking for? An experienced founder, builder, or operator, capable of operating from zero to one. Unique market insight, top 1% skills, or other advantages that make you a compelling fintech founder. Experience in corporate finance or investment banking. Proven ability to build a world-class team, attract customers and investors. Demonstrated capability to thrive in ambiguous environments and aptitude for calculated risks. A clear pict of the opportunity (including product direction), along with the drive and expertise to execute it. High IQ and EQ, strongly opinionated but adaptable.
