Ubisoft Bordeaux
Founded in September 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux works passionately on the biggest AAAA games to offer the best gaming experiences. Today, the studio consists of over 400 talents from 15 different nationalities, working on franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Beyond Good & Evil 2, as well as unannounced free-to-play games. We also work on exciting technologies with the Anvil, Online services teams, and with La Forge, which aims to validate the value of technological innovations.
Context
The Bordeaux studio is looking for a Data Analyst Assistant (F/H/NB) to join the Online Services team, a cross-departmental Ubisoft group working globally, which develops shared services for productions. These services are used across all our games, whether they are in development, or live and accessible to players.
Ubisoft Bordeaux is looking for a Data Analyst Assistant to join our Online Services team, in charge of the online services platform dedicated to providing solutions to enhance our players' connected experience across all our games.
Your tasks will include:
• Understanding the questions and issues of partner teams, defining the data to be collected
• Proposing relevant analyses in collaboration with the data analysts of your team
• Delivering these analyses through reliable and visual dashboards (the team primarily uses Tableau) and/or PowerPoint presentations
• Developing and maintaining scalable and efficient ETL scripts on Hadoop
• Automating processes and setting up quality monitoring
Profile
• Student in data analysis, BI, computer/statistics looking for a one-year internship.
• Good command of (complex queries, table creations)
• Good knowledge of a Dashboarding tool (ideally Tableau)
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (ideally Python, )
• Good command of English - our team is international
Bonus skills
• Good knowledge of ETL development in a high volume ecosystem
• Good knowledge of a data warehousing tool (ideally Hive), Airflow, and Git
Soft skills:
• You are adaptable and curious about various projects
• You have an interest in the video game industry
