Purpose of Role:
As a part of the core Data Analysis team, you will work closely with key business stakeholders to offer insights and data solutions that support ongoing business strategies. This involves interpreting trends, developing data models for management information, optimizing data retrieval and creating dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
The ideal Data Analyst will have a proven experience working with large and diverse datasets, uncovering insights, and delivering against business needs.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Analyse large and diverse datasets to discover insights and provide actionable recommendations in line with business goals.
- Design and develop data models to support decision-making across the organisation.
- Optimise data retrieval processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Create compelling dashboards, reports, and visualisations using various data visualisation tools to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations.
- Maintain and improve data collection systems, data analytics tools, and data management best practices.
- Develop and execute effective test plans to ensure data quality and usability.
Requirements:
- Essential - Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in the financial services sector, with experience in sourcing data from multiple sources such as Databases, CRM systems, APIs.
- Essential - Proficiency in Dynamics 365 CRM development and application.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Python, and database experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team and integrate quickly.
- Confident, self-motivated, and highly focused.
- Adaptable to a demanding environment with changing priorities.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
