Overview We are seeking a data architect with expertise in optimizing and designing efficient data models, databases, and dashboards. This role aims to assist clients with their database administration and development needs. The role can be based in Denver hybrid or remotely within the US. The candidate must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or C2C required. This role will operate MST hours daily and consistently if remote. Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include designing, structuring, and maintaining data, typically organized in relational databases. The role involves determining end-user requirements for data utilization, including analytics and visualization. The candidate will ensure the accuracy and accessibility of data related to the client's organization or project. The role will involve identifying and creating links to relevant data sources from within the organization and third-party sources, including government data sources. Other responsibilities include defining how data will be stored, used, integrated, and managed by different data entities, creating a vision, and documenting resource requirements for the organizational structure to support all client data initiative phases. Requirements Desired Skills and Experience The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related, plus a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in data management and database architecture. Proficiency in using Alteryx and Tableau development for this project is required. Other skills required include proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, or R for another project, and experience working in a robust BI environment for another project. Proven ability to document and adhere to business requirements, along with effective communication skills when interacting with clients at high levels of the organization. The candidate should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently and take initiative. Compensation For those assigned or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is legally required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range, specific to the State of Colorado, takes into consideration a wide array of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and delivery model. The role is a short-term 1099 consulting engagement offering an hourly rate of $55-$75/hr. Factors such as years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the role, and potential certifications could influence the final compensation for this role.
