We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and maintain our data pipelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, along with ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures.
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Implement database solutions in MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQL, Postgres, NodeJS, RDS, and NoSQL.
- Monitor data performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Develop and implement data security measures
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Doc.
- Proficiency in database management and deployment on AWS.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
Benefits
This is a contractor position, paid hourly with the option of becoming an employee after 3 months fully on the payroll with benefits.
