Airtable's unique approach to enabling end-user software creation has resonated with users across numerous industries and use cases. Our accelerating growth, coupled with our ambitious product range, brings exciting challenges. As a member of the Data Science team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Airtable's future by deepening our understanding of how people utilize our versatile toolkit. Working cross-functionally, you'll identify and answer key questions, transforming raw data into comprehensible and actionable insights. What you'll do: Partner with Finance teams to drive insights, identify opportunities, and understand behavior and long-term trends. Lead the creation of new datasets that open business opportunities. Manage the design and analysis of experiments, fostering a culture of rigorous experimentation across the company. Play a foundational role in establishing a data culture at Airtable through reproducible work, improved processes, and better tools. Develop hypotheses and test them with data, rather than solely attempting to extract patterns from existing data. Define and monitor key metrics through consistent tracking, KPIs, and dashboards. Who you are: You have 6+ years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer. You can translate raw data into meaningful business insights and tell a story with data. You have strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design. You're naturally curious, eager to uncover deeper relationships that aren't immediately apparent. You have experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large datasets, and you're familiar with a scientific programming language, such as R or Python. You're a superb storyteller and can clearly and precisely communicate your findings through writing or visualizations. The compensation offered to successful candidates will vary based on their location, skills, and experience. The base salary range for this role is $170,500 - $260,600, applicable to office and remote locations.
