In the Digital Lab Program at SGS. we're transforming laboratory operations, aiming for full digitization by 2025. This change enhances efficiency, elevates service quality, and creates an integrated network of automated labs, setting new industry standards and establishing SGS as digital lab pioneers
As a Global LIMS DQM Master Data Analyst at SGS, you'll ensure LIMS operates seamlessly in our Digital Lab Program. Your role includes configuring LIMS, managing data quality, and collaborating with global and regional teams to align with digital lab goals and maintain governance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain global LIMS settings.
- Develop and manage LIMS test methods and templates for global master data collection.
- Define governance rules for LIMS test structures, master data, and standardization.
- Validate LIMS master data per business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to quality and global processes for LIMS setup.
- Maintain LIMS setup documentation.
- Collaborate with LIMS support for issue resolution.
- Collaborate on new test method design with business and GPO stakeholders.
In this role, your meticulous attention to detail, dedication to data quality, and expertise in LIMS configuration will be instrumental in advancing our Digital Laboratory Program and ensuring our laboratory operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll work within a collaborative and innovative environment, making a significant impact on our global operations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Technical high school diploma in chemistry or information technology.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant LIMS experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of LIMS processes.
- Full understanding of the end-to-end laboratory process, including client order confirmation, testing, quality control, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Proficient in logical problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel.
- Effective team player.
- Strong analytical skills, including issue breakdown, solution finding, pros and cons evaluation, root cause analysis, and issue synthesis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including IT developers, laboratory experts, business users, and managers.
- Familiarity with SGS culture is advantageous.
