Job Description

As a Data Engineer or Architect (m/w/d), you are tasked with implementing data platforms and pipelines for Google Cloud customers. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs and design solutions that satisfy their requirements using Google Cloud data technologies. You will also take part in presales discussions with customers to ascertain their needs and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Implement data platforms and pipelines utilizing Google Cloud technologies such as Bigquery, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Pub/Sub.
• Work closely with customers to comprehend their business requirements and design solutions that fulfill their needs.
• Engage in presales discussions with customers to help identify their needs and suggest solutions.
• Team up with cross-functional groups to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay informed about the latest Google Cloud technologies and trends.

What you should bring along:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in implementing data platforms and pipelines using Google Cloud technologies such as Bigquery, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience with programming languages like Python and SQL.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• One or more of the following certifications: Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Google Certified Professional Data Engineer or Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
