The Role As a Lead Data Modeler for Finance/Risk, you will be driving the design of the enterprise data model for Finance and Regulatory Reporting. You will be part of a strategic project for the bank while collaborating with ITG and vendor partners to deliver a comprehensive Finance Regulatory Reporting solution. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle and upkeep of the data model once the project concludes. How you'll contribute - Interface with major business and IT stakeholders, utilizing your technical expertise across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. - Play a crucial role in creating and managing the high-level data model design artifacts. - Implement data strategies and develop physical data models. - Evaluate implemented data systems for inconsistencies, discrepancies, and efficiency. - Troubleshoot and enhance data systems. - Conduct and oversee sessions with crucial internal business segment stakeholders, prioritizing technology, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities. - Deliver high standard code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all kinds of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. - Cooperate with teams to confirm roadmap and technical alignment architecture. - Communicate with the data governance team to ensure data is trustworthy and accurate. What we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science) - Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience - At least 8 years of experience within data engineering and modeling; creating Logical and Physical models and understanding source financial systems. - Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data using Erwin Data Modeler or similar modeling tools. - At least 3 years of business experience in the Financial Services sector - Previous involvement with migration projects from on-premise to cloud would be advantageous - Ability to work productively in a diverse team with multiple stakeholders - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Prior experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
