Job Description You will construct and bolster the US Data Visualization & Reporting capability as part of the US Data Strategy for the US Commercial Organization at Biogen. As a member of the US Data team, you will facilitate the US Commercial digital and analytics strategies by creating data solutions that optimize the use of our data assets. What you will do: - Gather requirements from business - Design, build, and publish new reports and data models using Power BI according to customer requirements - Work on improvements of the existing reports and data models - Assist in converting complex data sets into actionable reporting frameworks and models to facilitate key performance indicator (KPI) visualization that supports optimal performance for end users - Create tabular and multi-dimensional data models that align with data warehouse standards - Be accountable for designing and updating methodology and project documentation - Adhere to quality assurance and control processes, and perform routine data management tasks, such as data validation and correction to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness - Ability to operate as a team member or independently with minimal supervision, depending on the project - Provide training to other Power BI users, as required - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Who you are: - 3+ years of experience working directly with Power BI and Report Builder; experience in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements - 3+ years’ experience with writing and debugging SQL queries - Effective communication and collaboration skills - Fluent in English - Basic knowledge of Python is a plus - Experience with pharmaceutical commercial data is highly advantageous Additional Information: We offer: - 12-month fixed-term contract of employment (maternity cover) - Role in an energetic and one of the world's oldest biotechnology companies - A company mission you can take great pride in - Work with diverse and knowledgeable multinational teams - Opportunities to learn and grow with GBS site in Poland - Structured onboarding program - Customized benefits package, for example, MyBenefits cafeteria, annual bonus eligibility, medical care, hybrid work More details: https://www.biogen.com/en_us/careers.html Why Biogen?
