Job Description
At Experian Automotive our core capabilities are showing our clients the actionable insights in their specific markets, strategies and solution to act on those insights, and measurement to continually improve. Leveraging the total suite of Experian data and technology assets, the ideal candidate will help Strategic and Allied Partners to understand their overall market potential, grow top line revenue, drive customer loyalty and manage the risk within their business.
Experian Automotive is searching for a talented Senior QA analyst who will be a key contributor to the team. The Senior QA analyst will maintain a high standard for quality of our products. This candidate will have a strong analytical mind, be a technical and creative thinker, have a strong aptitude for problem solving, and have zero tolerance for quality deficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, and a burning desire to constantly learn about different products and technologies. We value humility, a strong work ethic, flexibility, collaboration, technical curiosity, and continual learning.
You will work closely with data and analyze it using manual and automation techniques. The QA Analyst works closely with developers, Product and Project managers in delivering error-free data to ensure customer satisfaction with data accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. The ability to understand and analyze complex data is essential.
Understand QA methodology and full life cycle of data processing from acquisition to integration to extraction. Define QA approach and understand end to end process/data flow. Profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions. Identify code issues and communicate effectively to have code quickly retested. Work effectively with cross-functional development teams to establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a consistent record of professional and personal achievement. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness, and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential, in addition to the following:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in data analysis and/or data quality assurance review
Required Skills:
Data validation, analysis, data quality review
Unix Shell scripting experience
Data Automation experience
