Qualifications In order to qualify for this role, you must have - Proven success in designing, constructing, and optimizing Big Data architectures to support the establishment of highly scalable data stores using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. - Multifaceted experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, Data Science, and Business Intelligence. - Demonstrated project experience in designing optimal and reliable ETL processes, ingeniously obtained from a broad range of structured and unstructured data sources and incorporated in batch, real-time and cloud environments. - Project experience in managing large-scale databases and real-time data acquisition. - Project veteranship with object-oriented/scripting languages such as Python (preferred), Java, R, C++, Scala. - Proven project experience in leading, planning, and delivering enterprise-wide reporting and data warehouse solutions using proven delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Testing), frameworks and best practices. - Familiarity with Enterprise ETL tools such as SAS DI Studio, Informatica, Talend, Datastage, or Alteryx. - Advanced working knowledge in SQL and relational databases (like SAS, Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle), along with familiarity with a variety of NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake. - Prior project experience dealing with Data Modelling and/or Data Warehousing concepts. - Technical Business Analysis experience. - A proactive awareness of industry standards, regulations, and developments. Additional Information You must be - Willing to relocate to client sites, potentially for extended periods. - Open to traveling for work purposes and comfortable with staying away from home for extended periods. - Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions.
