Visa's Cybersecurity Architecture & Product Engineering team is seeking interns to concentrate on the research and development of security analytics solutions. As a Research Scientist intern, you will collaborate with Visa's leading cybersecurity teams on upcoming security issues to deliver innovative security solutions and provide insights into Visa Cybersecurity's AI strategy. You will undertake research and development tasks with state-of-the-art security technologies, a large volume of real-world data, and numerous mission-critical security operations/engineering teams to build technologies that safeguard billions of transactions happening globally. You will also regularly present and demo the research solutions to various stakeholders.
This role presents an exciting chance to contribute significantly to Visa's strategic vision as the world's premier digital payments company. The successful applicant must have a robust academic track record in applied research. The candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, showing a keen interest in security technologies, and excellent collaboration abilities.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated range for a new hire into this position is $46/hr to $52/hr, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Furthermore, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Travel Requirements:This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment like phones and computers.
