We are in search of a primary data & analytics consulting lead for a large Global and US-based Medical Affairs division within a renowned pharma company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellence in Data & Analytics:
Your role will include the successful design, execution, and delivery of data-driven discoveries in a specific therapeutic category
You will maintain and develop analytics-related relationships with relevant stakeholders on a case-by-case basis, including the data science team, omnichannel data team, strategy & content teams, analytics leadership at all partner companies, and with our clients
You will support day-to-day execution of data & analytics work across diverse analytics functions including data science, digital/omnichannel/first-party data, data visualization teams, etc., in a fluctuating business environment
You will identify project support needs and establish workstream priorities, and collaborate with strategy and medical teams to ensure analytics work feeds into best-in-class strategies & solutions
As part of strategic consulting, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within Medical Affairs to understand their analytical needs and provide strategic guidance
You will partner with Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Directors, and other stakeholders to develop evidence-based strategies and tactics to support medical initiatives and present findings, recommendations, and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders, effectively communicating complex analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner
You will also be responsible for devising creative solutions for learning & discovery needs on an as-needed basis to evolve our client relationship
In your role in Data Strategy & Governance, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data for all analyses, and you will conscientiously stay updated on data governance processes and data definitions as they change
You will identify data gaps and develop strategies to enhance data collection, storage, and integration, in collaboration with IT and data management teams, and stay current with industry trends, advancements in analytics methodologies, and regulatory requirements relating to medical affairs data
You will also serve as a team leader and collaborator, working effectively with cross-functional teams, including Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Clinical Development, and Regulatory Affairs, to align analytics initiatives with broader organizational goals
You'll mentor and guide newer team members, fostering a supportive environment for inquiry and relentless results. You will also develop the team members’ technical expertise and collaborative abilities to advance solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have proven experience in personally developing and leading analyses and/or studies in healthcare, with actionable findings (bonus points if these were implemented and led to measurable results)
Experience working with clinical data from real-world healthcare data sources, such as EHR, claims or outcomes data is critical
A demonstrated passion for working cross-disciplinary, particularly in a leadership role with stakeholders representing tech, content, publishing, production is essential.
Additional information
The annual compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $219,000. This is the pay range the Company anticipates offering for this position at the time of posting. In accordance with applicable law, the final compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the selected candidate.
