We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Architect to join our Cloud Data Engineering Practice. The Principal Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of complex, cloud-based data solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud data and analytics technologies.
Your tasks will include:
- Defining strategic roadmaps and targeted outcomes for our clients in a consultative capacity
- Acting as a data engineering subject matter expert to define future engagements with our pre-sales teams
- Conducting technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates and offering technical guidance to Architects and Engineers
- Overseeing the development and implementation of data standards and operating procedures
Your qualifications should include:
- At least 4 years of experience in the AWS data landscape
- 10 years of experience in at least four of these areas: relational database design, data modeling, big data processing, machine learning, BI dashboards and visualizations, data governance and MDM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, CI/CD pipelines and tools, and Python for analytics and automation
- A strong commitment towards standardization and documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
