We are looking to expand our international Business Operations team and are searching for a Data Engineer/Analyst based in the EMEA region who will assist in constructing reporting tools and utilizing Data Analytics to create comprehensive dashboards. As part of a centralized operations team, you'll have the chance to work in various areas, including Marketing, Sales, Services, Operations, and Finance. While aiding each department in becoming world-class operators, you will also connect them, ensuring smooth data flow across the organization. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Data teams.

What you’ll be doing
- Generating reports from data gathered from various tools through custom integrations and APIs.
- Creating Dashboards that monitor, anticipate, and portray essential business KPIs.
- Becoming an expert in our operational products.
- Implementing solutions with languages like SQL and Python.
- Supporting the evaluation and implementation of new technology for growth.
- Solving technical, operational, and escalation issues to provide the highest level of satisfaction.
- Delivering impactful, data-driven results.
- Designing, developing, installing, testing, and maintaining data management systems.
- Working with various owners from other departments to analyze their needs for any data reports.
- Transforming raw data into spectacular visualizations, providing valuable insights and compelling stories.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in integrations reporting.
- Strong command of SQL to operate with DB and DW, such as AWS Redshift.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Understanding of JavaScript for interacting with the Google Suite.
- Experience with BI tools like AWS Quicksight
- Familiarity with version control tools (git) and containers (docker) is a plus
- Experience building reports and dashboards from data sourced from various applications (not necessarily Big Data).
- Experience in enhancing business processes with technical solutions.
- Self-driven, able to independently plan your work when required.
- An aversion to “Not Invented Here syndrome” — you know when to solve a problem with a custom app, when to customize an existing tool, and when a spreadsheet is sufficient.
- Knowledge of the Google Suite would be beneficial.
