We are seeking a mature, purpose-driven data leader who has successfully used data to enhance business performance. You should have a clear vision on how data can improve every business aspect and possess the necessary leadership skills to actualise this vision. This role will be a valuable cross-functional asset, connecting with various stakeholders across highly technical and strategic topics. What You Will Do: - Build and lead a high-performing data organisation encompassing Data Science & Data Analytics. - Lead a data science team in developing algorithmic and machine-learned solutions to challenging problems like demand forecasting, task prioritisation and more. - Provide proactive strategic insights that influence all of Lime's products and operations by closely understanding our customers. - Encourage self-service among our technical product managers and engineers by enabling them to draw insights from our varied data sources without needing your team's involvement. - Lead a team of dedicated data analysts who work alongside engineering and product management to support experiment analysis and generate insights. - Improve the global and local dashboards used to report on the business's health. - Function as a key strategic advisor to the executive team, utilising data-driven insights to impact decision-making on key performance drivers. - Set the vision for Lime's data function over the next three years. - Use your communication skills to create compelling data narratives that make your solutions tangible. About You: - Have over 10 years of experience in data science and analytics, four years of which should be in a managerial position. - Extensive experience in data strategy, governance, and operations. - Track record of building and leading successful data teams in a fast-paced, results-focused tech business. - Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to audiences of varying technical levels. - Part of a data team that successfully transitioned a startup to IPO or successful exit. - Proficient in analytics and reporting, capable of transforming complex data into actionable business insights. - Proven success in consulting senior business leaders and executives. - Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
