Do you want beneficial technologies being shaped by your ideas? Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology – with us, you will have the chance to improve quality of life all across the globe.
Welcome to Bosch.
The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest was established in 2005. Today, it is a significant research and development hub within the Bosch world, focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2400 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving life worldwide.
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are developed to a state-of-the-art level in both technology and reliability and are found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
Tasks:
► Analyse large datasets obtained during the development and production of automotive sensors, select appropriate machine learning algorithms to generate smart solutions and to improve decision-making with respect to customer specifications, reliability theory, automotive standards and legal regulations
► Design and optimize both the data acquisition process and data analytics workflows
► Initiate open discussions, provide clear communication and results with your data, deliver results based on project timelines and quality expectations, and create reports in English
► Continually improve analytic workflows in terms of performance based on user feedback
► Collaborate and actively share methodologies with your internal and external partners in manufacturing, and sensor development (e.g. validation and reliability engineers, data engineers/analysts). Cooperate in an international team.
► Perform root cause analysis and support corrective measure implementation using 8D, problem-solving methods and LL
Expectations:
► MSc or PhD in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics or equivalent
► Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras) and SQL
► Strong background and experience in data mining workflows and the development of machine learning algorithms
► Good communication and presentation skills
► Excellent statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills
► Version control knowledge (git)
► Precise working style, good planning, time management and organizational skills, active tracking of tasks
► Ability to work individually and in international teams, sharing ideas
► Be self-initiative, open, innovative and have a growth mindset
► Excellent command of English
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
► Relevant experience in the engineering field
► Experience with APIs of the Hadoop ecosystem
