What is a Data Scientist?
This role reports directly to the Data Science Practice Lead and is part of a team of 9 dedicated Data Scientists.
What does a Data Scientist do?
Our team collaborates with all commercial stakeholders to deliver value to our customers by discerning hidden patterns, predicting subscriber activity, or discovering trends within our customer base. This is a chance for you to join the largest data science team in the Pakistani telecom industry and learn from leading industry experts.

Requirements
What are we looking for in a Data Scientist?
We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of robust data science experience. Previous experience in the telecom sector would be beneficial. The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
Knowledge in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data mining is required
Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques using Python (R is beneficial)
The candidate should be able to perform subscriber segmentation (Behavioral, usage, lifetime etc.)
The candidate will work on product recommendation engines that help determine the next best offers, primarily through BTL medium.
The candidate must be an enthusiastic, thoughtful communicator and collaborator with both tech and non-tech teams. The ability to explain, clarify, and synthesize complex projects and concepts to a wide-ranging audience is essential, both verbally and written.
Experience with Teradata and Data Warehousing concepts is advantageous
Experience with Data Visualization and communicating via data visualization tools such as matplotlib, ggplot, . or Tableau is preferred
