At Uni Systems, we are making digital visions a reality. We're steadily growing and are in search of a proficient GIS Data Scientist to join our UniQue Ispra team.
In this position, you'll have the chance to closely work with our public sector clients. You'll be tasked with generating new business by identifying lucrative opportunities, managing your client portfolio through the establishment of sturdy, enduring relationships, and tracking project progress. The ultimate goal is to deliver exceptional customer service and valued-added services.
What will you be contributing to the team?
- Development and maintenance of tools for drought and impact monitoring
- Coordination and review of ad-hoc technical documentation
- Analysis of ongoing drought events and impacts
- Assistance in data preparation and analysis
- Interaction with business analysts, customers, users, and project leaders
Requirements
What qualifications do you need to succeed in this role?
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in:
- GIS tools - such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server
- Statistical software - e.g. R
- An in-depth understanding of data analysis and visualization tools and environment (like R and python)
- Capability to give business and technical presentations
- Versatility in adapting to quickly evolving technologies and formats used in data analysis
- Proficiency in understanding, speaking, and writing in English (B2). Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, French will be advantageous
