Two Six Technologies is seeking to recruit a Lead Data Scientist for our team. As a Data Scientist, you'll apply your technical expertise to address some of the most complex intelligence matters related to data.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Formulate methods for extracting useful information and value from extensive datasets.
2. Draw and communicate reasoned conclusions from data using aspects of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and suitable application knowledge.
3. Construct and execute both qualitative and quantitative techniques for describing, exploring, and evaluating large datasets in diverse degrees of organization, tidiness, and structure that consider the unique attributes and restrictions inherent in data holdings with the aid of analytical modeling, statistical analysis, programming, or another suitable scientific method.
4. Convert practical requirements and analytical queries pertaining to large datasets into technical prerequisites, and additionally, help others draw the right conclusions from the analysis of such data.
5. Clearly convey complex technical information to individuals lacking technical knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or 10 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or 8 years of experience with a Doctoral degree in a relevant field; or 17 years of relevant experience and an Associate degree may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience.
2. Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science, or a related field of technical rigor.
3. Ability/willingness to work full-time on-site in secure government workspaces.
4. Note: A wider range of degrees will be considered if they are combined with a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.
Clearance Requirements:
1. This position necessitates a TS/SCI with FS Poly.
