Job Description Bertoni Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect for 100% remote work for a USA client. Cloud Architect Responsibilities The responsibilities include developing data solutions for the Azure cloud. They collaborate with various teams across the organization to help deliver on data strategy, architecture, and governance. They also work within the data engineering team to drive improvements in data quality, performance, and availability. They must be experienced in SPARK / PYTHON / SCALA / DataBricks. / SQL / ADF / Azure services and have a good grasp in various data access technologies, including strong SQL and PySpark-SQL. They are responsible for architecting and building data solutions using cloud-based storage and help deploy data-driven applications using Azure services. They collaborate with the product teams to build and maintain scalable data solutions as well as with the data management teams to make sure the data is organized and accessible for the company's application. They create, manage, and maintain the data architecture and pipelines for an organization's data services working with Data Engineers, Senior IT management, and other data professionals to ensure the data services meet the organization's needs. They make sure that the data services are scalable, reliable, and consume minimal resources. They design, build, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure. They collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop and evaluate data solutions and provide expert guidance on the best practices for data management in Microsoft Azure. They also work with the product management, engineering, and operations teams to make sure data solutions meet business goals. Professionals will need to be hands-on and ready to code when needed. Qualifications This role is only open for applicants located in North, Central and South America. This is an onshore/nearshore role. Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years of general experience in IT, 3 years of which should be in the Role. Candidates should have proven experience in developing and architecting cloud-based solutions, experience in Spark / Python / Scala / DataBricks / SQL / ADF / Azure services, strong Azure Data Factory experience, and experience in Synapse is a bonus. They need to be experienced in various data access technologies, including strong SQL and PySpark-SQL. Experience in data management and data warehousing design is a must. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and advanced written and spoken English.
