Are you a data expert with a passion for healthcare? Do you have experience using data and dashboards to create value? If so, we want you on our team as a Senior Data Analyst!

In this strategic position, you'll use your data analysis skills to solve complex data problems, optimize processes to boost reimbursement, and ensure our systems' integrity. You will also develop and sustain dashboards that monitor our performance and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reimbursement specialists to identify payor trends and opportunities
• Develop and manage Tableau dashboards for the team to monitor performance
• Verify that Guardant products are correctly billed according to Medicare criteria
• Assist Reimbursement management with data requests and operational reporting
• Lead projects with other teams/departments for Salesforce, Tableau, lab information, and billing systems enhancements and applications
• Manage existing Excel spreadsheets for ad hoc analysis and compliance reporting
• Be the go-to expert on the team for analysis, providing support and training to front line team members who need help

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in healthcare revenue cycle
• Strong analytical capability to use diverse datasets to identify trends
• Problem-solving skills to make recommendations and influence change
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to convey ideas clearly to senior management and front line team members
• Experience and proficiency with Excel and Tableau are required
• Experience and proficiency with SQL, Salesforce, and automation tools are a plus

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have designated days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for dedicated individual time. All U.S. employees living within a 50-mile radius of a Guardant facility are required to be on-site on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Our scheduled in-office days allow our teams to operate at their best and provide the focused thinking our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has fostered better work-life balance while maintaining team connections to advance our science for our patients.

The U.S base salary range for this full-time position stands at $88,052 to $126,795 USD, not including benefits, and possibly bonus, commission, or equity. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all U.S locations for the posted role, excluding any locations specifically referred to below, if any.

For positions located in Palo Alto, CA, or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time role is $117,403 to $158,494 USD. The range does not include benefits, and possibly a bonus, commission, or equity.

An employee's individual pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors, like job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you qualify for the next round, the recruiting team will provide specific details regarding the factors above.

Employees may need to lift customary office supplies and operate office equipment. Majority of the work is undertaken in a desk/office environment; however, there could be exposure to high levels of noise, fumes, and biohazardous material in the laboratory setting. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
