We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a passion for solving intricate, substantive problems to join our newly-established Chatbot team. By working closely with our exceptional product managers, software engineers, data scientists, designers, and operations team members, you will play a crucial role in advancing our GPT4-powered chatbot for customer self-service, and contribute towards making car ownership a seamless experience. How you will make an impact:

• Work closely with our product managers, engineers, product designers, and key company leaders to enhance the overall self-serve rate of our Chatbot

• Assist in the development of new features and automation, write unit tests, self tests, and QA software, and consistently deliver quality engineering outputs

• Participate in daily code reviews, always maintaining an exceptionally high standard for code quality

• Collaborate on product and engineering specifications, providing valuable insight from both a business and technical standpoint

• Use feedback from customers and our internal teams to continuously enhance our Chatbot

• Monitor software errors and alerts daily, ensuring that critical issues are addressed promptly

• Develop and maintain documentation for development, troubleshooting, and training purposes

• Become a trusted expert on our suite of products, production systems, and production tools

• Contribute across our entire product stack and maintain the integrity of our codebase

• Help evolve our tech stack by providing continuous feedback and insight

What we're looking for:

• You relish the challenge of unraveling complex problems and devising clean, scalable solutions

• You have a genuine passion for designing and executing elegant software solutions

• You are intimately familiar (and up-to-date) with the development ecosystem and are capable of making informed decisions when selecting the right tool or library for the job

• You are self-motivated and capable of working independently

Ideal profile:

• Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Have 5+ years of production software engineering experience in consumer applications

• Have hands-on coding experience using Typescript/Javascript, Java, Python, C, C++, C#, or Golang

• Possess a sound understanding of data structures and algorithms, operating systems, databases, and networking fundamentals

• Ability to adapt to a variety of development environments and technologies

• Understand performance implications and scalability of code

• Have a penchant for writing meaningful tests and maintaining test coverage
