You Are: Accenture Federal Services' Senior Data Scientist Manager aids clients in converting data into strategic resources through statistics and modeling, visualization, AI/ML, and other creative methods. Such methods promote data-informed decisions and storytelling. The Senior Data Scientist is proficient in multiple advanced techniques and guides teams in selecting and implementing these techniques to meet client objectives. The Senior Data Scientist assists in identifying data and analytics opportunities, conducting analyses, and delivering insights through platform solutions. The individual must stay current on emerging technologies and methods and must possess strong communication skills to effectively engage clients, teams, and industry partners. The Work: - Lead data science projects and manage junior Full-Time Employees - Manage client communications and relationships. - Advocate data science, analytics, and AI capabilities to clients and internal teams. - Contribute to growth activities including prototype development, offering development, proposals, and points of view. - Develop communities across client teams to foster collaboration and create a brand identity for data scientists. What You Need: - Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of industry experience - Demonstrated leadership experience within technology-driven federal organizations - Extensive experience with AI/ML processes and data science programs - Proficiency with data science tools and languages - Understanding of cloud-native cognitive APIs, open-source models and packages, and commercial tooling - Federal experience demonstrating knowledge of federal data systems, tooling, and use cases Bonus Points If: - Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, IT Systems, or a related technical field - Strong communication skills - Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders - Excellent people management and relationship development skills The Extras: - US Citizenship Required Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role - California: $156,000 - $296,100 - Colorado: $156,000 - $255,900 - New York: $144,500 - $296,100 - Washington State: $166,100 - $272,300 What We Believe We are unwavering in our commitment to diversity, aiming for everyone in our organization to feel a sense of belonging.
