Oracle Health Data Intelligence is expanding and seeks a Principal Software Engineer to join the HealtheIntent team.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply your intermediate to advanced software architecture knowledge to perform development tasks, debug, or design software applications and operating systems. You will build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements. Your role involves problem-solving, understanding, and applying company policies and processes.

High proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, etc.

Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)

Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs

Experience with large, enterprise-scale applications and big data processing tools (Spark, Hive, Presto, etc.)

Skills in RSpec for writing tests and Active Record for data modeling

Expertise in modern web applications, object-oriented programming, and the MVC architecture

Strong social skills in technical and non-technical contexts

Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and DevOps technologies (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Maven, etc.)

6-10+ years of relevant technical experience

Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members

BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent

US Hiring Range: $74,800 to $178,200 per annum, plus potential bonuses and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to account for knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and location, as well as internal peer equity.
