We are seeking a professional Transportation Data expert to serve clients across the LatAm markets. You will provide technical assistance and services to the Mobility and Intelligence teams within the region. Duties and Responsibilities: Competency to understand, propose and define ITS transport / transit solutions Proficiency to comprehend and / or integrate APIs into different interfaces for transport / transit projects (e.g., incorporating ITS data into mobility apps, smart city solutions, etc.) Experience in the development of mobility apps, from concept to execution. Strong aptitude in Big Data, focusing on transit / transport analysis Ability to examine and evaluate data at a regional, city, or zone level, key transportation / transit variables including OD trips, socioeconomic, demographic, and other variables Skill to analyze transit / transport data collection outputs and guide the methodology, based on the best practices for data gathering. Strong expertise in the graphical representation of plans, diagrams, schematics, and similar Contribute to drafting and organizing technical reports, technical memos, and presentations Support project managers with task management and project coordination. Qualifications: Native Spanish speaker with excellent written and spoken English language skills Bachelor's degree in civil, electronic, industrial engineering, and / or computer science A master's degree in Transportation Planning, Transportation Systems, or similar, focusing on transportation systems and data/big data analytics, is preferred. 5+ years of relevant professional practical experience in transportation, mobility, mobility apps, and big data analysis in Mexico and/or other Latin American countries Experience in managing small to medium scale projects focusing on ITS systems, mobility apps, transit technologies, and similar studies High proficiency with the complete Microsoft Office suite and strong graphical presentation skills Knowledge and competency in handling, analyzing, visualizing, and evaluating large data sets (preferably Big Data) using Excel, Python, R, or similar, and desirable knowledge of SQL.
