Key Responsibilities for PS Project Manager

As a Project Manager for Professional Services, you will drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth through technical engagement and enablement of our customers and partners. Your main objective will be to ensure successful project management of ABBYY IDP solutions from scoping to delivery within an agile international environment. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by planning and managing projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to establish domain expertise with ABBYY customers and partners at all levels, from executives to developers. Key responsibilities include:

• Being a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Working within the Professional Services team to define, plan, execute and close large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensuring project goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Predicting resources needed to achieve objectives and managing resources efficiently.
• Identifying, managing, and communicating risks and issues and having a proactive mitigation plan.
• Facilitating transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and service decisions.
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its lifecycle.
• Tracking team progress against key initiatives and communicating status to leadership.
• Creating comprehensive project documentation and ensuring correct and timely feedback is shared with the project team.
• Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the execution of projects.
• Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Essential Skills

• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives according to plan and timelines.
• Effective prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Proven track record of collaborating successfully with stakeholders from different business and technical verticals.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 2+ years of project management and related experience.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Native or proficient level of English
• Native or proficient level of German

Preferred Skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum experience.
• Experience in OCR, NLP, and related technologies.
• Experience in Process Mining and Task Mining.
• Experience working across internal and external organizations for complex mission-critical solutions.
• Strong ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
• Prior knowledge and experience in ABBYY products and technologies.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
