Your responsibilities

  • Be L1 Support from DataOps team
  • Respond to internal client's queries
  • Fix daily issues like access to data problems, etc.
  • Write terraform/terragrunt code for cloud deployments
  • Provide the first and second-level support for the bank's big data platform
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to the big data platform
  • Document all incidents and problems and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain and deploy the platform's infrastructure according to the manuals
  • Continuously improve the big data platform's monitoring and recovery processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify ways to improve the platform's efficiency and performance

Requirements

  • Unix/Windows administration knowledge and skills
  • Service Desk/Help Desk knowledge and skills
  • Ability to read documentation in English
  • Desire to learn something new
  • Good level of soft skills
  • Understanding of network: TCP/IP, DNS, network security; Bash; Jira/Confluence; GIT basics
  • Experience as a platform support engineer

Good to have

  • Basic knowledge of AWS
  • Basic knowledge of Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Experience with big data products
