We need leaders who take ownership, exhibit a bias for action, and have a deep analytical drive to develop and achieve what was previously thought unattainable. We are searching for a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer based in our Luxembourg/London corporate office to closely cooperate with business, technology and finance leaders as a strategic data advisor, managing the expanding data and reporting requirements. You will apply your know-how to devise solutions including ETLs, Quicksight dashboards, R Shiny applications and prototype Machine Learning in applications related to Business, Deals, Supply Chain and Pricing. The successful applicant will also be self-motivated, comfortable with uncertainty, have great attention to detail, and feel at ease accessing and working with data from multiple and various sources (structured & unstructured data). Key job responsibilities are: 1. Understanding business requirements, identifying gaps and the potential for automation given the current suite of dashboards/reports. 2. Driving the setting of scope and expectations with stakeholders, along with timely delivery. 3. Identifying technical solutions to address business issues, including evaluation of required platforms/dashboards, technical solution reviews, data design approach reviews, validation, code reviews, UAT testing and launch in alignment with best practices. 4. Independently driving projects and prioritizing between projects to earn the trust of stakeholders. 5. Providing seamless data/reporting and insights to enable data-backed decision making, providing the leadership with clarity on business metrics by facilitating MBRs/QBRs/Pillar reviews/OP1 discussions. 6. Driving the annual roadmap of automation projects for the function/pillar after collecting OP1 requests and ensuring alignment on priority (ATL/BTL) with Leadership/Management team. 7. Documenting your designs (e.g., System Design, Functional Design, Data Flow Design) clearly explaining trade-offs in solution decisions and choices. A typical day for a BIE means managing multiple BI projects in one or more domains (across business, pricing, deals or supply chain) for WW HPB at various stages of different projects. Day-to-day activities include meeting with stakeholders to understand business requirements, connecting with fellow BIEs to identify source data tables, brainstorming with Private Brand Intelligence (PBI) team on potential technical solutions/actions, data design review with BIEs, sprint prioritization reviews, code review through Maestro with fellow BIEs and driving trainings/documentation/launch announcements during launch. Besides this, responsibilities will include monitoring and rectifying broken reports/resolving data dependencies, setting up processes/alarms for timely generation of business reports. The BI team in the WW HPB team collaborates with worldwide BI teams (based in NA/CN/JP) to develop data/insight solutions for data-driven business decisions. We are prepared to hire candidates to work out of one of the following locations: London, GBR. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience. - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines. - Experience writing complex SQL queries. - Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab. - Experience with SQL. - Experience in the data/BI space. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift. - Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
