We are seeking a knowledgeable and ambitious Computational Physics Engineer to strengthen our team in the field of computational physics and develop cutting-edge electromagnetic solvers for metrology applications. Join our dynamic group that excels in optical modeling and metrology inference competencies.
Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for developing, specifying, and designing new ASML products. Our Business Line Applications delivers integrated solutions that combine computational, metrology, and control technologies to enhance the performance of lithography products for the semiconductor industry.
At D&E Applications, the Modeling and Inference Group focuses on developing optical and mathematical models and methods for inferring physical model parameters from optical metrology data. We identify, design, and implement relevant new metrics, algorithms, and measurement functions with optimum performance characteristics. The availability and development of fast and accurate optical models and Maxwell solvers, along with their optimal integration, are crucial for our success. The group ensures the application of Applied Mathematics for Parameter Estimation and the proficiency in Scatterometry ASML Competencies.
As a Computational Physics Engineer, you will:
Computational electromagnetics, scientific computing, periodic and non-periodic Maxwell solvers, integral equation methods, optimization techniques, inverse problems, sampling and interpolation, physical modeling, calibration, machine learning, signal processing.
