About Your Role and Team

You’ll be an integral part of our Data Engineering team, collaborating with skilled Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists. Together, we aim to develop superior data products that enhance the capabilities of our leading gaming app. Ideal candidates should exhibit a robust passion for data, possess a thorough background in computer science, and have recent pertinent experience in data engineering, software engineering, or machine learning. A keen interest in professional sports, betting, and eSports will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Data Engineering team, you will:

• Develop and maintain event-driven distributed systems that handle extensive data volumes and integrate seamlessly with back-end services.
• Engineer real-time data pipelines and innovate in collaboration with our data science team to establish industry-leading SDLC and MLOps processes.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize data science models.
• Enhance and uphold the architecture of our expansive data systems.
• Drive the design objectives and operational targets alongside collective team efforts.
• Upgrade and refine existing systems, tools, and infrastructure.

What We Look For

Do you have:

• A solid foundation in computer science covering data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, machine learning, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and one compiled language such as Java, Go, or Elixir?
• Experience in building complex solutions over large datasets with systems like Kafka or Pub/Sub?
• Expertise in orchestrating data pipelines using tools like Airflow?
• A familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure?
• Strong communication and collaboration skills?
