Data Scientist

Job Description We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to assist with our Machine Learning tasks and statistical analysis. Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to select the most suitable Machine Learning solutions; - Design and develop Machine Learning models for use cases such as: - Recommender systems - Fraud detection - Chat text analysis - Work alongside data engineers to select appropriate datasets and data representation methods; - Collaborate with game developers to ensure the necessary data is available; - Research and implement suitable Machine Learning algorithms and tools; - Create metrics and evaluation processes for the performance and impact of your models; - Train, test, and retrain Machine Learning models; - Collaborate with other team members to deploy Machine Learning models to production; - Use and, if necessary, expand existing Machine Learning libraries and frameworks. Qualifications: - University degree in a numerical field (Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, etc.); - Demonstrated track record and excellent ability to understand, interpret, and explain business data; - Minimum of 3 years work experience in the Data Science field; - Experience and understanding of linear algebra and statistical modeling; - Experience with deploying Machine Learning solutions to production; - Deep knowledge in at least one Machine Learning field such as regression, classification, clustering, pattern mining, or optimization; - Experience with at least one Machine Learning framework such as Scikit-Learn, Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, MLLib; - Proficiency in Python, specifically packages like Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib (or equivalent); - Experience with SQL and Big data tools such as Spark/Hive; - Highly proficient in spoken and written English; - Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving; - Willingness to learn and interest in the latest trends in programming and Machine Learning. Nice to Have: - Knowledge of Scala or Java; - Experience with AWS or other cloud provider; - Experience with Kafka, Clickhouse, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Docker.
