Internship for Research Engineer - End-to-End Neural Rendering

Flawless is seeking intelligent, dedicated, and driven Research Interns to join our research team in Los Angeles, US. Our interns are tasked with complex research problems and receive a clear project plan for the duration of their internship. At Flawless, we believe in our interns' potential to excel and therefore maintain high expectations for their performance, either by contributing to cutting-edge advancements or by adding distinctive scientific value to our operation. Qualifications include: - Enrollment in a Master or Ph.D. program in visual computing, 3D Vision, or related disciplines. - Demonstrated research experience through the implementation of methods from top-tier conferences in computer vision/graphics, and deep learning. - A solid foundation in mathematics, numerical optimization, and statistical methods. - Familiarity with neural face rendering and 3D face tracking techniques. - Extensive experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Research focus areas include: - 3D face reconstruction/modeling in images and videos. - Vision Transformers (ViTs) for tracking/detection. - Image/video (portrait) synthesis using, e.g., GAN, neural textures, etc. - Neural head avatars.
