Internship for Research Engineering - Tracking

Based in London and LA, Flawless comprises an exceptional team of 100 global leaders in science, film, and technology, hailing from prominent organizations including Adobe, Google, Lionsgate, NASA, Sony, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple. In order to maximize our position and extend our tools for video content creation, we're seeking intelligent, driven, and dedicated Research Interns to join our research team in Los Angeles, US. We provide our interns with intricate research issues and a definitive project plan during the course of their internship. At Flawless, we are committed to helping our interns succeed and anticipate high levels of performance, whether that means advancing the state or contributing unique scientific value to our operation. Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a Master or Ph.D. program in visual computing, 3D Vision, or related disciplines. Must have research experience, demonstrated by the implementation of methodologies from top-tier conferences in computer vision/graphics and deep learning. Should possess a strong background in math, numerical optimization, and statistical methods. Familiarity with neural face rendering and 3D face tracking techniques is a must. Extensive experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow is mandatory. Our areas of research focus include 3D face reconstruction/modeling in images and videos, Vision Transformers (ViTs) for tracking/detection, images/videos (portrait) synthesis using GAN, neural textures, etc., and Neural head avatars. Please note that only candidates with expertise in at least two of these areas will be considered. This internship is set to start as soon as possible.
