The work:
You will use statistical and machine learning techniques to create models that address cybersecurity challenges. You'll analyze large, complex data sets to derive actionable insights and enhance threat detection, and collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to understand their problems and translate them into data-driven solutions. You will stay updated with the latest developments in data science and cybersecurity to drive innovation, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective knowledge transfer. You will be part of client engagements, ensuring delivery of high-quality results within project timelines.
Here's what you need:
- One year of experience with data hunting/manipulation/presentation
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other data science programming languages
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit-learn
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscapes, and attack vectors
Bonus points if you have:
- Master's or Ph.D.
- Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, SIEM platforms, and threat intelligence platforms
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
- Previous experience in a consulting environment or client-facing role

Compensation varies depending on many factors such as specific office location, role, skills, and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a reasonable range of compensation for roles that might be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
- California: $82,400 - $154,800
- Colorado: $82,400 - $133,700
- New York: $76,300 - $154,800
- Washington State: $87,800 - $142,300
