Role Overview

As a Lead Data Solutions Developer, you will play a critical role in advancing our data-driven decision-making processes across the company. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting data warehousing solutions, emphasizing automated approaches that reduce manual effort. Ensuring access to clean, consistent, and logical data for various stakeholders will be key to your success.

Location Requirement: To be considered, applicants must reside in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable scheduled jobs to extract, load, and transform data using technologies like Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and complete projects end-to-end.
• Connect and explore disparate data sources, including production systems, business applications, and third-party data sources.
• Build and maintain data models, experiments, and related business and financial reporting logic.
• Provide production support on a rotational basis.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Transform low-value datasets into highly structured and consistent data models for analysts, data scientists, and reporting tools.
• Develop scalable, efficient, and automated processes and data pipelines.
• Make recommendations to improve technical systems and infrastructure.

Candidate Profile

• 5 - 8 years of experience in technology, preferably in data/analytics, with some programming background required.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Scripting skills in one or two languages (e.g., BASH, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with Cloud OLAP database platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and common data transformation techniques.
• Experience with version control software such as Git.
• Experience pulling data from an API using Python and Airflow (or similar technologies).
• Exposure to business applications such as CRM tools, financial reporting systems, and marketing automation tools.
• Experience in dimensional data modeling.
• Exposure to AWS or Linux command.
• At least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Quantitative mindset and passion for data.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve independently.
• Self-starter with minimal direction needed to make an impact.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation

Gross Annual Pesos Base Salary Range: $680,000.00 - $1,100,000.00
