Cerium Networks, a Microsoft Gold Partner, is currently seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft Cloud Services Engineer to join our team. At Cerium Networks, you will play a key role in driving the effective use, adoption, and management of Microsoft Solutions such as Azure, M365, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and data governance for our customers.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer (CSE) who specializes in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, CoPilot, Azure Identity and Authentication). In this role, you will collaborate with customer business decision-makers and IT teams to understand their business requirements and provide solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will act as the subject matter expert and a key technical resource for our customers, focusing on proactive services such as technology deployments, technical assessments, and tailored technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive effective use and management of Microsoft Solutions with a focus on Azure, M365, DLP, and data governance.
- Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and provide tailored solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Deliver proactive services including technology deployments and technical assessments.
- Provide advanced technical guidance and support for Microsoft 365, including Teams, Exchange Online, and Azure Identity and Authentication.
- Implement and manage DLP policies and data governance procedures within the O365 and Azure space.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years' experience, or 5 years' relevant education/experience.
- Three (3) or more years of direct, hands-on experience with MS Solutions such as MS Teams, M365, Exchange Online, and Azure.
- Experience in planning, migrating, and operating Microsoft 365 in both Hybrid and Cloud-only configurations.
- Proficiency in Data governance, including DLP, sensitivity labels, and information barriers.
- Knowledge of data security principles and compliance requirements relevant to the cloud.
- Experience with DLP and data governance, including policies and procedures implementation and management.
- MS Copilot experience, including integrating MS Copilot with the M365 suite.
- Expertise in AI principles, working with prompts, and generative AI to utilize Copilot features.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with the capability to present thoughts and ideas to diverse audiences.
- Passion for continuous learning, strong analytical skills, critical thinking, time management, and good judgment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adapting to technology and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated aptitude for providing extraordinary customer service in emotionally charged environments.
Travel Requirements
Travel is an integral part of this position. You should be willing to travel as required by the needs of our customers and our business. This position may require travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel.
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 to $130,000 plus Bonus
Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
