Internship Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Image Signal Processing Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the field of image processing and contribute to the development of novel imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and literature review on the latest techniques in image signal processing for event cameras and RGB cameras.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for image synchronization and enhancement using data from event and RGB cameras.
  • Perform experiments and evaluate the performance of image processing algorithms.
  • Document research findings, code, and methodologies for future reference.
  • Present results and progress to the team during regular meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Image Processing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of image processing concepts and techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
  • Interest in working with event-based vision and conventional RGB camera systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly.

Eligibility

To be eligible, candidates must be working towards or have recently completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Image Processing, or related fields. Recent graduates within six months of graduation can also apply. Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, for three months from September 2024 to December 2024 is required.

Start Date: Monday, September 23, 2024 (this date is not flexible)

Compensation

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $44-57/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
