Key Responsibilities

As a Research Scientist focusing on Neural Interfaces, you will:

  • Develop and refine methods and tools to parse and utilize extensive multimodal data sets.
  • Ease the transition of algorithms from a research setting into practical applications.
  • Analyze and refine deep learning models and metrics within experimental settings involving human participants.

Minimum Qualifications

Prospective candidates should possess:

  • A Ph.D. or be currently obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Understanding of architectural patterns in large-scale software applications.
  • Legal work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintaining it throughout employment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, completed prior to joining.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional qualities that would enhance your application include:

  • A proven track record indicated by grants, fellowships, patents, or publications at reputable AI conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, and others.
  • Software engineering experience demonstrated through internships, work, competitions, or contributions to popular open-source repositories like GitHub.
  • Proven experience in transitioning machine learning solutions from research to production stages.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from US$117,000 to US$173,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
