Job Opportunity: Senior Analyst – APLD at Novartis in Hyderabad

Job Description Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Analyst – APLD to provide comprehensive analytics support to Novartis internal customers, including CPOs and regional marketing and sales teams. This role involves delivering low-to-medium complexity analytical reports and facilitating data-driven decision-making processes through both qualitative and quantitative analytics.

Role Purpose:

As a Senior Analyst, you will support Novartis internal customers by utilizing data analysis and data science techniques on both internal and external data. The goal is to solve business problems and support decisions. This includes knowledge sharing, on-boarding and training support, and the development of process documentation and knowledge repositories.

Essential Requirements:

  • Deliver projects and manage internal customer expectations, covering multi-channel marketing analytics, portfolio analytics, targeting and segmentation, predictive analytics, resource allocation, and other ad-hoc requests.
  • Create and deliver customer requirements as per agreed SLAs, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Provide advanced analytical and statistical solutions for various projects, including promotion evaluation, multi-channel marketing (MCM) campaign design, ROI analysis, resource allocation, segmentation, and targeting.
  • Engage in exploratory research to identify new applications for advanced analytics and data science to enhance decision-making support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services using structured project management with appropriate documentation and communication throughout the delivery process.
  • Automate project codes and develop front-end delivery solutions. Support the maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing sessions to foster growth and improve GBS deliverables across functions.
  • Comply with all internal functional operating procedures, including time tracking, KPI tracking, and internal system and process requirements. Adhere to Novartis' legal, IT, and HR operating procedures.
  • Quickly understand new data sources and integrate them into standard analyses.
  • Possess a good understanding of the pharmaceutical domain; experience in an international company and cross-cultural work environments is ideal.
  • Demonstrate strong business results focus with the ability to provide insights that enhance productivity.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • University/Advanced degree required, Master's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of analytics experience in marketing analytics, SQL, ETL, and APLD within the pharmaceutical industry is preferable.
  • Strong quantitative and systems background with analytical problem-solving skills.
