POSITION SUMMARY

WHAT YOU’LL DO
The successful candidate will join a team of UK (London) based developers leading the development and evolution of Veritone’s Video Re-Identification (RE-ID) solution. This system handles both images and video data and conducts advanced analysis like object detection and recognition for surveillance and business intelligence applications. The role includes developing innovative deep learning models and algorithms for image and video analysis. The candidate will also be the technical lead for all aspects of model research and development.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum qualifications:
- PhD degree in Computer Vision with up-to-date extensive knowledge and experience in deep learning algorithm development and implementation.
- Extensive experience with common Python frameworks such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, pandas, OpenCV. Experience in Exploratory data analysis.
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with software development tools and agile development practices.
- 8 years of experience in developing deep learning or classical machine learning models, with at least 2 years as a technical lead.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for the next generation of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision Machine Learning applications.
- Self-motivated and able to drive tasks to completion.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
Bonus Points If:
- Knowledge of C++, TensorRT.
- Experience in object detection and/or tracking, re-identification (RE-ID), face recognition or matching, or attribute prediction.
- Experience in deploying machine learning models into production.
