Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning - Bidding

We are a remote-first company, and our technical teams generally meet in-person in the SF Bay Area at least one week per quarter. We prefer a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area or anywhere in the Pacific timezone where we have an entity: California, Oregon, Washington (and potentially West Coast of Canada). Responsibilities include building new ML infrastructure and supporting our experimental workflows, prototyping and evaluating new ML algorithms and modeling techniques, evaluating new data sets, running machine learning tests and experiments, collaborating with other engineering teams, and being part of a culture promoting “engineering excellence.” The requirements for the position include having over 5 years of experience working on machine learning projects, solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, proficiency in ML libraries/packages and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, R, C++ or Java. The preferred location for this position is the SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle Area, or Greater Los Angeles Area. Liftoff offers competitive compensation, including equity and benefits.
