This individual will provide statistical programming support for clinical trials. They will produce statistical analyses, including the creation of analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures for clinical trials. They will also create SDTM mapping and datasets, develop and maintain the infrastructure for project files of SAS datasets and SAS code, support Data Management in the creation and transfer of datasets, perform integrity checks and quality audits, and act as a liaison between clinical and subcommittees and project teams when necessary.

This role has various primary responsibilities, including performing all statistical programming required for clinical trial analysis and reporting, applying appropriate statistical methods for data analysis, reviewing the Statistical Analysis Plan in preparation for programming the planned analyses, developing SAS macros and other utilities to expedite SAS programming activities, and generating tables, listings, and figures as per the protocol, Statistical Analysis Plan, or approved client request.
Applicants also need to have strong analytical skills, with the ability to process scientific and medical data. They need to be expert SAS programmers, with a basic understanding of SAS/Graph and excellent problem-solving skills. They need to be able to work independently, be proficient in manipulating and analyzing SAS data, be capable of communicating technical concepts clearly to non-statistical colleagues, and understand the basics of regulatory guidelines and CDISC SDTM and ADaM data models.
