Job Title: Statistical Programmer II at Lifelancer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and implement SAS programming, testing, and documentation for clinical studies under supervision.
  • Create statistical tables, figures, listings, and graphs.
  • Program analysis datasets and transfer files for internal and external clients.
  • Conduct programming quality control checks for source data and report data issues.
  • Provide technical expertise in collaboration with internal and external clients.
  • Develop programming documentation, including specifications as appropriate, under supervision.
  • Estimate programming scope of work, manage resource assignments, communicate project status, and negotiate project timelines for deliverables.
  • Support other programmers within the DMC Statistical Center staff.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for the independent statistical center.
  • Assist in department and company projects related to Biostatistical Services.
  • Provide coverage within the team and other teams as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience with Statistical Programming in a SAS environment.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficient in SAS® Base, SAS® Graph, and SAS® Macros.
  • Capable of implementing statistical procedures as specified by a biostatistician.
  • Working knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM).
  • Basic understanding of clinical trial data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiar with ICH guidelines (E6, E3, E8, E9) and clinical research processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, plan, organize, and prioritize activities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and provide high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently; able to plan, organize, schedule, and complete work within deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changes in office technology, equipment, and processes.
  • Demonstrated consistency and dependability in attendance, and the quality and quantity of work.
