Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI and ML R&D Lead Technologist to integrate cutting-edge AI and ML technologies into Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS). Main Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the design and development of advanced algorithms and software solutions for trusted autonomous systems.
• Conduct experiments to explore new AI and ML technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and product managers, to ensure successful integration of these technologies into IAS.
• Develop Test, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEV&V) procedures and techniques for IAS.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in AI and ML R&D.
• Experience with ML, computer vision, and deep learning algorithms.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
• Ability to present research findings and recommendations effectively.
• Strong collaboration partnerships with industry and academic institutions.
• Up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, ML, and autonomous systems technologies.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps tooling, pipelines, and Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Experience with distributed data tools, including Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, or Kafka.
• Leadership experience with AI and ML engineers, researchers, and data scientists.
• Developing innovative ML models, algorithms, and solutions for IAS.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
• Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE).

This estimate represents the typical salary range and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
