Job Responsibilities

As an AI Hardware Accelerator Engineer/Researcher, you will:

  • Collaborate with leading experts in AI and robotics to develop advanced technology concepts.
  • Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept, covering all stages from ideation to validation.
  • Improve performance through parameter optimization, design modifications, and new software modules.
  • Implement methods on real vehicles and test hardware on the road.
  • Effectively communicate your work through documentation, presentations, and reports.
  • Continuously expand your technical knowledge by exploring third-party tools, open-source libraries, and attending relevant conferences.

Required Knowledge and Skills

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • A Master's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in fundamental blocks for hardware acceleration for AI/ML/LLM.
  • Experience in mapping mathematical algorithms to hardware and developing Instruction Set Architecture (ISA).
  • Strong coding skills in C/C++ and optimization for cache and memory.
  • Experience in exploring design space with FPGA implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

Stand out with these skills:

  • Expertise in ARM IP, ARM tools, AXI, CHI, PCIe/CXL, and UXL.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog coding.
  • Deep understanding of verification, UVM/OVM, and formal methods.
  • Experience with tools for Power, Performance, Area analysis for final SoC and VCS.
  • Experience with ROS and work involving robots, vehicles, or other physical systems.
  • Active contributions to the open-source community.

Join us in Santa Clara, California, USA. Our annual salary range is $100,917.00 - $230,589.00, reflecting your unique skills, experience, and education. Compensation based on comparison with similar roles and market norms ensures fair pay.
