Key Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning research.
• Proven publication record at significant conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP).
• Proficient coding skills in Python, C++.
• Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra and statistics.
• Capable of formulating research problems, designing experiments, implementing solutions, and effectively communicating results.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, collaborative environment.

Description

As a committed researcher, you'll design your own research plans to advance our understanding of machine learning, implement these ideas, and manage their execution in collaboration with colleagues. Your role includes offering technical mentorship, preparing detailed technical reports for publication, delivering conference talks and engaging with various teams across Apple.

Education & Experience

PhD or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.

Pay & Benefits

Apple offers a competitive compensation package including base pay, discretionary bonuses, and stock options. Base pay ranges from $138,900.00 to $256,500.00, depending on your skill level, qualifications, and location. Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounted Apple products, and tuition reimbursement for career advancement. Furthermore, this role may be eligible for relocation benefits.
