Apprenticeship BI Data Analyst Opportunity
Join the Renewables Global Business Unit (R-GBU) and play a crucial role in accelerating renewable energy asset development. Our unit supported an EBIT of approximately €1.2 billion by the end of 2021 and manages 36 GW of installed capacity as of June 2022. R-GBU operates across 20 countries, employing 4,900 individuals of more than 50 nationalities. Our goal is to expand our installed renewable energy capacity to 80 GW by 2030.
Job Overview: BI Data Analyst Apprenticeship
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Data team in redesigning and optimizing existing reports to enhance data visualization.
- Develop advanced dashboards using Power BI, in collaboration with the data analytics manager and final users.
- Ensure reports adhere to visual identity standards (colors, templates, logos, etc.).
- Proactively share best practices in Power BI, Power Apps, Python, etc.
- Partake in data engineering activities by writing Python scripts to process raw data from various sources.
- Document methodologies and results, including key insights and future recommendations.
Team Environment
This role is part of the Business Data Team within RGBU, aiming to build a comprehensive data reference platform. The platform will contain validated information utilized by 60% of the Extended Leadership Team (XLT) on a monthly basis by the end of Q1 2024. This position is based in Paris and reports to the Data Analytics Manager.

- R-GBU Level: Interactions with various teams, including Development, Construction, and Maintenance.

Required Qualifications
Mandatory Pre-requisites
- Education: University degree or equivalent in IT, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- Experience: Previous training or experience in a data-related field is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and at least one programming language is essential. Knowledge of Power Apps and the Power Platform is a significant plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and French is required.
Hard Skills
- Languages: Fluent in English.
- Technical: Expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, and Python (pyspark, pandas, numpy, streamlit, plotly, etc.).
- Interpersonal: Ability to challenge, advise, and interact remotely with international teams.
