Amazon Robotics enhances a smarter, quicker, and more consistent customer experience through automation. Amazon Robotics employs a variety of robotic technologies to automate fulfillment center actions. These include autonomous mobile robots, intricate control software, language interpretation, power management, computer vision, depth perception, machine learning, object recognition, and semantic command understanding. There is a committed focus on research and development at Amazon Robotics that continuously explores new prospects to expand its product lines into new areas.
The co-op opportunities at Amazon Robotics will be situated in two high-tech facilities in the Greater Boston Area - in Westborough, MA and North Reading, MA. Both campuses offer the unique advantage of direct access to robotic testing labs and manufacturing facilities.
This 6-month co-op role runs from July to December 2024.

Key job responsibilities
As the Technical Program Manager Co-op, you will be expected to:
- Handle one large project or multiple smaller projects.
- Interface with all engineering disciplines to deliver project requirements.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and expansion of strategic programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve a program’s offering and its benefits for our customers.
- Define, detect, develop, and carry out analyses to discover opportunities and formulate suggestions for process improvement.
- Maintain and develop tools and dashboards to monitor program milestones, track and report capital expenditure, and maintain the solution design portfolio using Tableau or equivalent.
- Show the ability to excel independently and as a contributing member of a highly-efficient team.

Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Project or Program Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field at a US university with a graduation date of May 2025 or later.
Available for a full-time (40h/week) internship/co-op from July to December 2024.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with or ability to learn Tableau.
Previous project team experience recommended.
The ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize workloads even when faced with conflicting priorities.
Strong decision-making skills, using sound logic to express ideas.
Strong technical acuity to address customer challenges.
